About Sensory Smart Education

OUR MISSION & VISION

We partner with schools and early childhood leaders and educators to build calmer and more engaging learning environments through sustainable, sensory-informed support. Our vision is to empower every educator with the practical tools and biological insights required to support neurodivergent learners and foster a culture of regulation and confidence.

Supporting Those Who Support Others

Educator Wellbeing

Educator wellbeing is the foundation of a thriving classroom. When teachers and leaders feel regulated and supported, they are better equipped to foster the same in their students. Sensory Smart Education supports educator wellbeing by giving teachers and educators clearer understanding, practical tools, and support they can actually use in real learning environments. The aim is not to add more to educators’ plates, but to help everyday situations feel clearer, more manageable, and more sustainable over time.

Sustainable Routines

We integrate sensory-informed strategies into existing school structures, ensuring wellbeing support is practical rather than an additional burden.

Our Expertise

Specialised in Sensory-Informed Education

Sensory Smart Education is informed by paediatric occupational therapy expertise in sensory processing, child development, participation, regulation, and learning. Our OTs are trained in Ayres Sensory Integration®,  this means they have a strong focus on understanding behaviour through a sensory lens, neurodevelopment, inclusion and engagement, social and emotional learning, and strategies that support educator wellbeing.

This expertise is translated into practical support for educational settings through training, case-based workshops, embedded educator support, screenings, family support, and guidance around sensory environments and equipment.
