Workshops for educators
Bespoke workshops that turn real classroom challenges into practical strategies.
About our workshops
Workshops give educators a practical space to bring real classroom examples and work alongside an Occupational Therapist to unpack what may be happening beneath behaviour, regulation, attention, coordination, or participation challenges.
The goal
The goal is to help educators move from theory to action by breaking down real situations, understanding what may be getting in the way, and creating strategies that can be trialled immediately.
When this service is most helpful
This service is most helpful when staff already have some foundational understanding but need help applying it to everyday situations in a practical, realistic way.
Who it’s for
Best for:
Teams that have completed the Educator Training and want practical application
Educators navigating repeated classroom challenges
Settings wanting strategies built around their real routines
Leaders wanting to strengthen consistent responses across staff
What the SSE workshop looks like
Educators bring real examples of children who find regulation, attention, coordination, or participation tricky. Together, the challenge is unpacked, possible sensory or environmental factors are explored, and realistic strategies are co-designed, such as:
Calming sensory options
Movement-based transitions
Seating adjustments
Small environment tweaks
What educators gain
By the end of the workshop, educators can:
Confidence in Action
Gain the confidence to manage complex behaviours using a framework tailored to your specific age group, context, and unique classroom challenges.
Deepened Understanding
Better understand sensory and motor factors influencing regulation and attention in children.
Immediate Strategies
Leave with practical, realistic strategies they can trial immediately in their specific environment.
Inclusive Environments
Feel better equipped to create inclusive environments that support the success of all learners.
